A declaration, and an award for women
Two lasting works begin at the first gathering: a declaration on the future of women's empowerment, and an international award for women.
The Mrs. Khadija Declaration
The Declaration speaks to the future of women's empowerment and of equal dignity for women and men. It is MKF's contribution to International Women's Day. The people who meet in Antalya in March 2027 will be its first signers, and the Declaration will grow with every signature after them.
The Mrs. Khadija Awards
The Mrs. Khadija Awards will be an international award for women, on the level of the world's highest honors. They will be given every year in four categories, with one million US dollars for each laureate. The Awards are open to women of every faith and every background.
Announced
The Awards will be announced at the first gathering, in March 2027.
Every year
Once begun, the Awards will be given every year, together with the gathering in Antalya.
